This rotary offers both continuous and step & repeat motion, depending on your process requirements.
Continuous single pass motion is the most productive which provides significant accuracy and output capability between the lasers and rotary system. Step & repeat motion is advantageous for laser processing that requires consistent positioning of the repeated image and greater accuracy, up to ±75µ (±0.003 in.), along with efficient slug removal. Both laser stations can utilize vision registration for X-Y-T corrections and Preco’s patented laser power control for accurate kiss-cut depth that both exceed industry standards. The lasers may also be moved to multiple positions along the manifold at pre-set fields of view (FOV), custom designed as a standard feature, using a sliding linear rail and stop blocks for height adjustment. Whether you require 1, 2, 3, or more lasers integrated to the rotary converting platform, Preco is the natural OEM to ensure reliability and technical expertise.
