Die cutting is the process of using a die to cut sheets or rolls of low-strength materials, such as rubber, fiber, paper stock, plastics, pressure-sensitive adhesives, foams or foil. Preco machines can cut out discrete parts or are sophisticated enough to cut down to a substrate, known as kiss-cutting the part, so it remains on the liner. Die cutting can be done on either a flat bed or rotary press, both of which are manufactured by Preco.
